If you decided to click on this page, you just set yourself up for some REAL fun and excitement. For years, I’ve always had an interest in the forgotten, the unknown, and the most random and weird. And one of the things that had all three combined was a subject most people in the states aren't familiar with; Foreign Disney comics.

It is exactly what it sounds like, Comic books and stories featuring the main stars of the classic shorts from the Walt Disney Company (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Uncle Scrooge if you count his cancelled shorts) that were all finished or even started in Europe and parts of South America. These stories are as strange, off-model, and weird as you can get from the house of mouse. The trouble was that, even with all the help from companies like IDW and Fantagraphics, there are hundreds of comics that are not only so weird that Disney would never want to touch again, but they may even be even lost. And that’s what this section mainly is; a place where I clean up as many foreign Disney stories as I can find and properly translate them in the English language (again, as best as I can)

As you may expect, a good amount of the stories written during the mid-late 20th century can include many things that aren't PC. Mainly racial stereotypes, specifically making fun of those who are African American, Native American, or of Asian descent. And even though I will have all the visuals and text as close to the original as I can (depending on the copy I can find), that DOES NOT mean I condone such ideas. These were all written during a time when people, even those who may have good intentions at the time, didn’t know better, when they really should’ve. It’s not acceptable back then, it’s not now, and just because these were from the past doesn't mean that we’re weak or have a lack of sense of humor. It means that we all know better now. That being said, removing and censoring these would just be as disrespectful, as it says that such things in history never happened, which is terrible. It’s up to us to both know it’s wrong while also understand that these ideas happened, as that’s how history is.

Each story has been sectioned off into where it originally was made or was first released (depending on what we know, as again, some of these stories have been lost in time for so long) If you like to find a story idea specifically, like one where Donald is being attacked by aliens, or if Mickey and Goofy are stuck dealing with Uncle Scrooge’s nonsense, go up to the search bar above and type out a keyword or two.

(Also, I don’t own any of these stories or characters, but everyone knows that lol)
