Jade Basholock
When there’s an issue or question that not even “a trained professional” like Tom can answer or figure out, the go-to (not to mention very free) person is a young fellow named Jade Basholock (it’s her father’s European name).
After a few years in college (filled with countless hours of side-jobs trying to pay her student loans), she finally earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. This gave her the freedom to operate a local animal clinic downtown, which was great to help the plenty of animal folks in the area. The downside is that she ends up getting repeat visits from a curious Tom Jenkins (you do gotta love just how many times he’s mentioned in these wiki pages).
Now when dealing with people like you know who and her friends, Betty and Lotta, she’s always the rational and relaxed part of their pie-chart. She’s always there to lead a hand, while giving her more… cynical remarks in a situation. And considering how screwy the world is, there’s tons of snarky material for her to use. Most of her friends don’t usually care, especially Tom, but Betty and Lotta do make it known when it’s expressed at a time when it becomes mockery.
To some, this comes across as an unlikely group who’ll cause nothing but fights… which is half true (they do argue about certain things), but to others, there’s never a thing like too many friends.
